About Me

A kid from Maryland. Life changed in Oregon. Now aimlessly drifting around.

Those who might know me will tell you: Griffin can and will take up your time. I admit it. I love chatting. I love to tell stories that are way too long.

Journalism and storytelling has always been a perfect match for me. There's something incredible about taking something horribly complicated, absorbing and collecting details about it, and regurgitating it for everyone to understand better.

Things I love: the LA Clippers, Crumb, environmental history, Cixin Liu's "Three Body Problem"

Things I hate: the LA Clippers, passive voice in news, artichokes (can't change my mind)
